You
will guide through "The Everglades via our Airboat Tour amidst the
sawgrass trails, stopping only to see an alligator within picture taking
range. There your guide will tell you more about the Everglades. You
will then "whir" back to land by your propeller driven airboat. |

Seminole Indian Village
Next
visit the Replica of an18th Century Indian Village and hear of the life
and times of Florida's Seminole Indian. A craft stand is located outside
the village for hand made Seminole items. |

Alligator
& Reptile Exhibit
A
short walk to our live Alligator & Reptile Exhibit where you will take
more photos while our Alligator handler actually strokes the Alligator's
jowls, see the gator close his eyes. Here you will learn fact from fiction
about these magnificent prehistoric reptiles. You will also
see the Crocodile and Caymen in this area. |
Birds
of Prey Exhibit
Finally,
the Birds of Prey Exhibit. Here you will come nose to beak with
these hunters of the sky, learn how they hunt. Meet other
interesting little critters, i.e. our legless lizard. Our new
arrival the Panther kitten in her playful moods with her trainer.

stand outside the Indian Village. |

The Everglades and the Ten Thousand Islands is a
rare and beautiful place. 
It
is one of North America's unsung wild places - a beautiful, rugged, subtropical
landscape experienced by a relatively few adventurous souls each year. Many who
appreciate the unique qualities of this wilderness will argue that it is a place
better kept secret. Perhaps, in my quest for solitude and a deeply personal
communion with nature, I might ordinarily agree. But I also feel that it is a
resource important not only for its natural heritage and spiritually enriching
powers, but for its commercial and recreational values as well.
